Youth Scholarship Fund: Monroe County Parks and Recreation strives to enhance children’s lives through recreation. Our Youth Scholarship Fund provides assistance for those in need and allows Youth in our community to participate in after school programs and Karst Day Camp.
Disc Golf Maintenance Fund: The Karst Farm Park Disc Golf course is one of the only 18-hole courses in Monroe County and we understand the importance of its preservation. Donations to the Disc Golf Maintenance Fund are used specifically towards efforts to improve the Disc Golf course. Hole signage, tee pad improvement, course layout changes, and landscaping maintenance are all tended to using the Disc Golf Maintenance Fund.
Dog Park Maintenance Fund: Karst Dog Park is the only membership based dog park in Monroe County. Providing a clean and safe facility for our members and their furry friends is our top priority. Donations to the Dog Park maintenance fund assist us in doing so! Landscaping improvements, equipment/structure repairs, and improved signage are all items that are tended to using the Dog Park Maintenance Fund.
Bug Fest 2019: Now in its 7th year, Bug Fest has become a staple in the Monroe County Community. Bug Fest is free of charge, so the event relies heavily on contributions from the community to provide the event from year to year. Donations to Bug Fest 2019 will assist in providing guest speaker fees, parking personnel, and equipment rental.
